Blair Phibbs

Hi, my name is Blair, and I’ve had the joy of serving as the lead pastor of CLF since August 2017. My wife, Angela, and I have been married for more than 30 years, and we’re grateful to have raised four amazing daughters. Though we’re originally from Ontario, we’ve come to love life on beautiful Vancouver Island and consider it a gift to call this place home.

One passage that has anchored my heart and ministry in recent years is John 15:1–17. Jesus’ invitation to abide in Him continues to shape how I lead and how I live. We are the branches and He is the vine; real growth only comes from staying close to Jesus. His words in verse 5 challenge me often: “Apart from me you can do nothing.”

Outside of ministry, I enjoy watching the NFL, fishing, riding my motorbike, and tackling home renovation projects. I love to laugh, I appreciate a good slice of pie, and—most of all—I love Jesus.
