Growing in Connection

Membership at CLF is more than joining a church—it’s a commitment to spiritual growth and being active in the ministries and community of CLF. Membership also includes becoming a voting member and living out the mission of Jesus. At the heart of CLF is connection: connecting with God and connecting with one another.

Your Connection to God

As a member of CLF, you are committing to personally grow in your relationship with Jesus. There are some disciplines that when practiced regularly help us with intentional, consistent spiritual growth. We encourage every member to cultivate this connection through:

  • Prayer
  • Engagement with Scripture
  • Worship (honouring God in thought, word, and action)
  • Serving others with love and humility

Growth in Christ is not meant to be a private journey. Just as the fruit of a tree is meant to nourish others, your life in Christ is meant to bless those around you. A member of CLF is someone who:

  • Actively participates in church life and community
  • Builds meaningful relationships with other believers
  • Uses their gifts to serve and strengthen the body of Christ
  • Represents Jesus in daily life
