Jesus had to be both fully human and fully God because we needed a mediator who could represent both sides completely. Sin created a separation from God that no human effort could fix, so God sent His Son to stand in the gap. Because Jesus lived as one of us, faced every temptation, and obeyed perfectly, His righteousness now represents us before the Father. Because He is fully God, His sacrifice carries infinite weight and the covenant He secured for us never depends on our performance. God does not simply tolerate us through Christ. He brings us in as sons and daughters, with full and constant access to Him. You do not have to earn your way to God or fix yourself before coming to Him. Jesus has already secured your standing, and you are invited to live from that place of belonging.
