God is Faithful

In this week’s message, Pastor Blair continued our series on God’s covenants by focusing on the eternal promise God made to David—an everlasting kingdom fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Using the imagery of lasting things we can trust, Blair reminded us that God's promises are not just reliable—they are unshakable, because they are grounded in His perfect faithfulness.

From David the overlooked shepherd to Jesus the eternal King, we saw how God lifts the humble and keeps His word despite human weakness. Even when we fall short, God’s promises remain, because they are based not on our performance, but on Christ’s.

We are not earning God’s blessings—we are learning to walk in them. As we trust Him more, we grow in confidence, peace, and purpose, knowing He is faithful to complete the work He began in us.

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ." (2 Corinthians 1:20)
