Two weeks ago I felt the Lord ask me to challenge everyone to seek God for a word for the year. This is a word, from God, that you can live by this year. It’s something that will help you continually put your trust in God throughout the year.

Now I know that some of you are thinking well, how about a verse, or how about a phrase? Does it have to only be one word?

By no means is this a ridged system; I am encouraging you to get close to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith; I am encouraging you to listen to Holy Spirit as he talks to you; I am encouraging you to seek Him, Jesus, this year, rather then only ask Him for help.

Jesus Christ wants to enter your house, your family, and your person and fill you right up. He wants to breath new life in you this year.

Well I wanted to share with you the word Holy Spirit has shared with me this year.

Transformed

Jesus has asked me to be transformed. Into what I do not know; by what means I have yet to find out, but I am willing to be transformed for Him. I am willing to allow him to reshape me and remake me however He wishes. I am willing to allow my mind and my action to be transformed by Jesus and His perfect will.

Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

I know that part of my transformation is already happening as I learn to seek Him in a new way through OSL. OSL has taught me to meditate on the word in a way I hadn’t been able to make habit in my life until now, journaling. It has encouraged me to continually put scripture to memory.

Here is the best part. Jesus has a revelation for you specifically. He has a revelation for JUST YOU, so that you can be encouraged and pushed forward, so that you can grow and be strengthen in Him, by Him, and with Him.

Meditate on the word and He (Jesus) will find you in the pages of scripture and show you that you are His daily delight.

Prayer:   MY JESUS, I WELCOME YOU! MY JESUS I FALL AT YOUR FEET AND SEEK YOUR WAYS, FOR YOUR WAYS ARE HIGHER THEN MINE. MY JESUS you are great and mighty, I accept your words over me for this year. I accept what you have spoken to me through scripture, I accept, that you will for my life is greater then my will. I submit myself and rest in your promises.
