Our theme is this year is Legacy
Legacy is defined in Merriam-Webster's dictionary as "something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor from the past." We commonly hear about legacy "living on" today when they continue to affect those in the present. Legacy isn't about what we leave after we die, it's about what we are building while we are alive, that will last.
Jesus Christ was an example to the people today of how they should be. "To this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps." 1 Peter 2:21. He leaves the legacy of forgiveness, salvation, kindness, sincere humbleness, and perfect love.
