Food is essential to our survival. That is why we are making food accessible to communities in Zimbabwe. In Matabeleland North, little access to food is leaving children and their families very hungry. To help, we have launched a school feeding program where you can help feed over 19,000 children, teachers and volunteers.
This program provides CSB+ (cereal) to 18,597 children and 405 teachers and volunteers. The cereal is prepared as porridge on site Monday through Friday in 35 primary schools.
According to World Food Programme, 1.1 million people in Zimbabwe are facing food insecurity this year.
